Some love is like a really good nap.

I think about it all day.

Body longing, brain behind. A softness,

Call it kind, a tender sigh, two closing eyes.

One underrates, the luxury, of an overdue surrender.

Sinking in at last; all at once, my weight caves in,

the day has come, it tiptoes past.

This love is rest. This love is peace.

This love it nurtures, and time forgets.

'Tis love undressed–– fore working clothes,

must not be worn in bed.

Only sheets left to protect,

A see-through shield

A naked chest (an exposed heart)

honest bliss!

(A pillow cools a weary head)

Troubles at bay, here I shall stay––

bated breath, come morning.
